In 2001 Professors Alex Haslam and Steve Reicher set up another experimental situation involving men assigned to the roles of guards and prisoners. This experiment was filmed by the BBC. The first thing to say is probably that there are actually a lot of similarities between our studies in terms of the basic set up.
