FOCUS ON CULTURE The video document you are about to watch has been edited by SCP Foundation. The O5 council decreed that this video document could be released to public after data editing. It nevertheless is possible that information you are about to access to can show unwanted side-effects such as paranoia, psychosis, tremor and uncontrolled tears. We advise to any person with a MARS under 2 to give up on watching this video document immediately. Good day, good evening everyone, the topic of this video is a bit peculiar. Actually, I won’t talk about creepypasta. Well, I will, in some way; creepypastas are stories that people tell to scare; I began to search about them, Ben Drowned, Laughing Jack, Jeff the Killer, Slenderman. I was half-hearted about telling you again stories you’ve already had read or heard about hundreds of times on the Web. But making my researches, I discovered a kind of company, the SCP Foundation, for [DATA EXPUNGED] special measures of containment.
Everything I’ll tell you in this video is real. I hardly believe it myself, but trust me that there’s one reason why the title of the video isn’t merely “Focus on SCP”. That’s because everything I’m gonna say is strictly confidential. I think I’m risking no less than my life talking you about all of this. [Yeah, you’re fucking up] A couple details before beginning. The SCP Foundation names its residents as SCP-ID number and sorts them by classes. For examples I’ve picked, “Safe” SCPs don’t need containment measures, “Euclid” SCPs are dangerous, but contained, so that’s rather OK if you don’t screw around, and “Keter” SCPs are highly dangerous and hard to maintain in detention. SCP Foundation often uses people called “D-Classes” for dangerous work, most of them are dead-row prisoners. Here we are, I hope the Foundation will never get aware of this video, I count on your discretion. Let’s go. Number 01, SCP-173. It seemingly is the first SCP ever listed. That’s THIS. Kind of a concrete statue, except that’s alive. SCP-173 however won’t move as long as it’s present in your direct range of vision. You’ll say: “Doctor Who, Crying Angels, already made, Steven Moffat, invented nothing”, and such. So, first, I’d suggest you to learn to make sentences, then, first reports on SCP-173 appeared a few months before the first appearances of Crying Angels in Doctor Who. What’s even weirder is that SCP-173 kills its victims breaking their nape, as Crying Angels do, except that SCP-173 moves instantly when you lose sight of it, contrary to Crying Angels who have always been some mysteries of nature for me about this. Let’s do math? Let’s do math. This blink lasts around 1 second, the time needed for these two Crying Angels to cross this street. I inquired, this is West Bute St. in Cardiff, which I measured on Google Maps (yeah I’m crazy), and it’s around 18m (59ft) wide, so Angels made the move at minimal speed of 18m/s i.e. ~65km/h (40mph). Later in the episode, there’s… say… no more than 18 meters, for sure, so that only 1 second at most is needed for the Angel to reach these two characters, but in the episode… So, contrary to SCP-173, Crying Angels are rather obliging. Number 02, SCP-087, these are stairs. I probably should elaborate. These are down-going stairs. Lemme finish>_
