1. Holding our governments to account also means to ensure that appropriate indicators are used. So far the indicators proposed by the UN Stats Commission are no sufficient. Many important issues are neglected – particularly with regards to the responsibility of high income countries (fair trade relations, weapons exports, secrecy of financial markets, unfair tax agreements, patent rights provisions in trade agreements, etc.). Civil society should get together to propose its own indicators where the official indicators are not enough to reflect the ambition of the 2030 Agenda. The project 2030 Watch tries to do that.

  2. Excellent resource to break the ice on CSO involvement in SDGs monitoring. Could develop specifics on related SDGS / each one to elaborate this role much more?
