Community Forum at CLC Discusses Need to Protect Minnesota’s Waters

THE OBJECTIVE WAS TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY AWARE OF THE CRUCIAL NEED TO PROTECT OUR MINNESOTA WATERS. LAWMAKERS AND OFFICIALS WERE IN ATTENDANCE TO SUPPORT THE VALUE OF CLEAN WATER AND PRESERVING LAKES, STREAMS AND RIVERS. THE MISSISSIPPI HEADWATERS PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER FOR 2.5 MILLION CITIZENS IN MINNESOTA, YET SINCE 2010, WE LOST 3,500,000 ACRES OF THE RIVER WATER.>>WE COME TOGETHER TO SHARE THOUGHTS AND VISION AND A CALL TO ACTION TO PROTECT THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND THE SURROUNDING HEADWATERS REGION AND PROTECT WATER FOR PEOPLE AND LIFE ACROSS THIS REGION.
