Community awaits answers after woman found dead in North Raleigh


NOISE SIX DAYS AFTER A YOUNG WOMAN RESPONDED IN NORTH RALEIGH A COMMUNITY WAITS FOR ANSWERS. THEY TELL ME THE FAMILY STOP BY THEIR HOME TO SAY HOPING THEY MIGHT HAVE SOME INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 23- YEAR-OLD THE FAMILY TELLING ME THE YOUNG WOMAN LIVES IN GREENSBORO AND HAD NO REASON TO BE IN RALEIGH THEY TALK TO THE POLICE AND THE POLICE WON’T TELL THEM ANYTHING. THE SHOOTING TOOK PLACE SATURDAY EVENING ON CARL’S WITH COURT JUST OFF STRICKLAND ROAD. THEY SAY THEY HEARD AT LEAST THREE GUNSHOTS CAROLYN WENT TO THE DOOR TO LOOK OUTSIDE. THERE WAS A CAR PARKED ACROSS THE STREET HIDDEN FIRST RESPONDERS SOON ARRIVED. THERE’S ALSO ONE WITH INTO AN AMBULANCE. THE WAY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DID NOT RELEASE MUCH INFORMATION THEY WOULD ONLY TELL ME THAT THEY HAVE THE SUSPECT.
